I'm in a bit of a scary situation right now, contributing to my current delay with the next few pages. I can't go into detail, I'm trying to be smart and go through connections to get someplace safe, but my main options are all "off the deep end" sort of deals. Risky, risky gambles. And I've never been a good gambler. I have never wanted to share anything about my personal life here. I only wanted to update here to state that if I don't come back, I went out fighting. But I'm gonna fight really hard for the things I care about and for Young Blood, the project that saved my life up until this point. My last advice: Never go to Vermont. The people there bite. Next page is almost done, gonna try to have it uploaded on the 30th-- it's just been a bit tough because I literally haven't drawn a fight scene in like... 9 years, no joke lol. So, I'm probably gonna upload the rest of the character concept sheets I have-- firstly as an apology if this next page goes a few days past my weekly deadline. But theres also a second reason. I've noticed some things about how I do canine anatomy that I've stagnated on over the years and that I want to make moves on improving. I've been trying to gradually practice and improve these things in the anatomy as I get more pages out BUT a few of my currently completed character sheets still possess those little flaws in anatomy that are bugging me? So, basically the plan was to drop character sheets as the character themselves were introduced. But since I'm gonna make an effort to improve anatomy-- I don't want to get to the character in question in the comic and be drawing them with better anatomy only to

Almost done with the next page. Getting on a weekly schedule is still the goal but my mac computer mouse of 10 or so years finally died on me so I've been having to get adjusted to a new one, which is why this page took me a little longer than planned again. That said, once this page is finished (tomorrow or the next day), I'm thinking of switching from the soft brush style I've been using to a pixel brush? Might be poor timing to change something like that so drastically only two pages in but I've noticed that drawing with the pixel brush seems to completely cut the drawing / coloring process in half. Like, I don't want to sacrifice art quality { which, I honestly don't think it will necessarily } but the most important thing for me right now is just getting pages out... so cutting down on the overall time it takes to complete these things needs to be priority. Ok, back to work.
